The event is split into two rounds:

 

- Round 1:  

April 18, 2025 (Friday) at 00:00 UTC  

Ends April 20, 2025 (Sunday) at 23:59 UTC

 

- Round 2:  

April 25, 2025 (Friday) at 00:00 UTC  

Ends April 27, 2025 (Sunday) at 23:59 UTC

 

In local US time (PDT):  

- Round 1: April 17 at 5:00 PM April 20 at 4:59 PM  

- Round 2: April 24 at 5:00 PM April 27 at 4:59 PM

- 7-Star Pokemon: Salamence the Unrivaled  

  - Tera Type: Flying  

  - Ability: Intimidate (standard) / Moxie (Hidden)

How to Participate

To access 7-Star Raids:

1. Complete the Academy Ace Tournament after finishing the main story.

2. Complete 8-10  4or 5raids.

3. Receive a call from Jacq, unlocking 6raids.

4. Look for the Black Crystal Raid Dens in Paldea (not in Kitakami or the Terarium DLC areas).

 

Best Counters for Flying Tera Salamence

Flying-types are weak to:

- Electric

- Ice

- Rock

 

Electric-Type Counters

- Miraidon Electro Drift and Hadron Engine make it a powerhouse.

- Iron Hands Belly Drum + Thunder Punch with high durability.

- Eelektross Levitate helps it avoid Earthquake, and strong Electric STAB moves hit hard.

 

Ice-Type Counters

- Iron Bundle High Speed and Special Attack with Ice Beam.

- Weavile Great Speed and access to powerful Ice Punch or Icicle Crash.

 

Rock-Type Counters

- Tyranitar Despite being a previous raid boss, it resists Flying and packs Stone Edge or Rock Slide.

- Lycanroc (Midday Form) Fast and can use strong Rock-type moves with Tough Claws.
