Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: New Pokémons are coming to 7 Star Tera Raid Battles!

Are you ready for the 3 new Pokémons? The mighty Pokémons are clawing their ways into Pokémon Scarlet & Violet for their 7-star Tera Raid Battle debut-- with the first one as Meowscarada! This magician Pokémon will appear at black Tera Raid crystals from Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. PST to Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 3:59 p.m. PST, and the other two Pokémons, Skeledirge and Quaquaval, will coming in the next two weeks!

Meowscarada Raid Guide

Phase Mechanics:

• Shield activates at 75% HP remaining (80% timer)
• Uses Hone Claws at 99% timer
• Player stat reset at 85% timer
• Petal Blizzard at 84% timer
• Grassy Terrain at 50% timer
• Boss stat reset at 75% HP
• Final stat reset at 40% HP

Recommended Counter Pokémon:
Ceruledge (Fire Tera)

• Moves: Swords Dance | Bitter Blade | Clear Smog
• Item: Charcoal/Metronome (not recommended for setup)
• Nature: Adamant
• Ability: Flash Fire
• EVs: Max ATK/HP

Strategy:

Turn to your friends with Intimidate and ask for their help, pairing with them and use  Intimidate to mitigate Meowscarada’s physical damage output during the battle. Use Clear Smog to wipe your debuff at the beginning and at 85% timer. Prioritize sustaining your HP using Bitter Blade while waiting for Tera charge. Activate Fire Tera immediately upon availability to maximize damage output. After Terastallization, if health is full and the boss isn’t shielded, cautiously use Swords Dance for setup. Maintain pressure through repeated Bitter Blade strikes while monitoring boss phase thresholds.
