Long Awaited Psychic Spectacular Event Returns to Pokémon GO - Bonuses & Debuts
The Psychic Spectacular Event is making an exciting return in Pokémon GO! Running from Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time, this event brings a wave of thrilling bonuses, new Pokémon debuts, and special in-game activities for Trainers.
Event Bonuses
2× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
Extra Candy for Nice Throws, Great Throws, and Excellent Throws.
Trainers at level 31 and up have an increased chance to earn Candy XL when catching Pokémon with Nice Throws or better.
Pokémon Debuts
The Calm Pokémon Hatenna will make its long-awaited debut, alongside its evolutions! With 25 Hatenna Candy, Trainers can evolve Hatenna into Hattrem, and with 100 Hatenna Candy, Hattrem evolves into Hatterene.
Dynamax Debuts
Beldum will make its Dynamax debut in three-star Max Battles. Pokémon caught in these Max Battles can be Dynamaxed during future Max Battles, and if you're lucky, you might even encounter a Shiny Beldum!
Wild Encounters
During the event, the following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild:
Ralts
Spoink
Gothita
Solosis
Elgyem
Spritzee
Swirlix
Inkay
Morelull
Additionally, some Trainers may even find Hatenna in the wild! Wild encounters with Pokémon marked with an asterisk have a chance to be Shiny.
Eggs
7 km Eggs will hatch the following Pokémon:
Mawile
Chingling
Espurr
Hatenna
Lucky Trainers may hatch a Shiny from these Eggs as well!
Field Research Task Rewards
Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will reward encounters with:
Gothita
Solosis
Elgyem
Spritzee
Swirlix
Morelull
Hatenna
Pokémon encountered via Field Research tasks also have a chance of being Shiny, with Morelull having a greater chance of being Shiny compared to wild encounters.
