Incineroar

When Does the Incineroar Raid Start?

The Incineroar seven-star raid event will be live across two separate weekends, giving trainers a limited time to capture this powerful Pokémon. Here are the specific dates and times:

Round 1: From September 6, 2024, at 00:00 UTC until September 8, 2024, at 23:59 UTC.

Round 2: From September 13, 2024, at 00:00 UTC until September 15, 2024, at 23:59 UTC.

As usual with seven-star raid events, Incineroar can only be caught once, so make sure you're ready for battle when the event kicks off!

Incineroar's Stats, Moves, and Ability

Incineroar, the final evolution of Litten, first appeared in Pokémon Sun and Moon and has since become a household name in competitive battles, thanks in part to its potent Darkand Fire-type moves. In this Tera Raid event, Incineroar will take on a Dark Tera type, making it even more dangerous.

Key Information:

Level: 100

Nature: Adamant

Ability: Intimidate - Lowers the physical attack of your Pokémon by one stage when Incineroar enters the battle.

Tera Type: Dark

Item: None

Move Set:

Darkest Lariat - Incineroar's signature Dark-type move that ignores defense boosts.

Flare Blitz - A powerful Fire-type move with recoil damage.

Acrobatics - A Flying-type move that hits harder when Incineroar isn't holding an item.

Iron Head - A strong Steel-type move with a chance to flinch.

Will-O-Wisp - Burns the target, cutting its attack stat in half.

Scorching Sands - A Ground-type move with a chance to burn the target.

Incineroar's ability, Intimidate, can be especially frustrating, as it lowers your Pokémon's physical attack stat upon entering the battle. Be prepared to work around this debuff, as it can make it much harder to deal damage right out of the gate.

But the real danger comes from Incineroar's Darkest Lariat move. This Dark-type attack not only benefits from its Dark Tera type, but it also bypasses any defense boosts, meaning you can't just rely on bulking up to survive. You'll need to focus on strategy, healing, and using status effects to wear Incineroar down.

Rewards for Defeating Incineroar

Aside from adding this powerful Pokémon to your collection, participating in the Incineroar Tera Raid will reward you with valuable items. Expect to earn:

Tera Shards (Dark)

EXP and Candies (L, XL)

If you've already caught Incineroar during the raid, you can still join future battles to gather more of these useful items.

Event Location and Requirements

As with previous seven-star Tera Raid events, the Incineroar raid dens will spawn in various locations around Paldea, the main region of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. There's no need to worry if you haven't purchased the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, as these raids will not take place in Kitakami or other DLC areas. Additionally, there are no specific post-game requirements to join this event.

Conclusion

The Incineroar seven-star Tera Raid promises to be one of the most challenging yet rewarding battles in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. With its high attack stat, diverse move pool, and the ability to bypass defense boosts, Incineroar will push trainers to their limits. But with the right strategy, counters, and support, you can emerge victorious and add this mighty Pokémon to your team.
