Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: Exciting Four-Part Seasonal Event Series from July to September 2024

 

 

From July to September, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players will have a series of seasonal events to participate in. From Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 4:59 p.m. PDT, you’ll have the opportunity to face off against Tera Pokémon with the Mightiest Mark. During the battle, players will encounter rare Pokémon, and enjoy mass outbreaks with increased chances of finding Shiny Pokémon and those with special marks.

 

 

Event Overview

This seasonal events featured special Tera Raid Battles and mass outbreaks, giving Trainers the chance to catch unique and powerful Pokémon. Each part of the event will bring a new set of challenges and Pokémon to discover. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:

 

 

First Part: Pikachu and Friends!

The first part focuses on searching for Pikachu and Friends. The Pikachu with the Mightiest Mark returns in 7-star Tera Raid Battles with a Water Tera Type. You can catch this pokemon as you participate in this event. But note that if you’ve already caught this special Pikachu, you won’t be able to catch it again.

 

Except the Tera Raid Battles, you can look forward to mass outbreaks of Pichu throughout Paldea, as well as Pikachu and Mimikyu in Kitakami. Additionally, Blueberry Academy will be teeming with Raichu and Alolan Raichu (the latter being exclusive to this event). A nice thing is that Shiny Pokémon are more likely to appear in these special mass outbreaks!

Second Part: Order Up Fun Dondozo!

The second period revolves around Dondozo, a Pokémon with the Mightiest Mark that first debuted in the 7-star Tera Raid Battle featuring Water as its Tera Type. Along with this event, mass outbreaks of Tatsugiri will occur, and you will have chance to encounter Curly form Tatsugiri throughout Paldea, Droopy form Tatsugiri throughout Kitakami, and Stretchy form Tatsugiri throughout Blueberry Academy.

 

But that's not all–these special mass outbreaks also increase your chances of finding Shiny Pokémon!

Third Part: The 2024 Pokémon World Championships!

From Thursday, August 8, 2024, you will have chance to catch a Gimmighoul. This Pokémon is a key art of the 2024 Pokémon World Championships. Chest Form Gimmighoul will appear in 1- to 5-star Tera Raid Battles with various Tera Types. In 5-star Tera Raid Battles, you might even encounter a Shiny Chest Form Gimmighoul!

 

During this event, players can also see mass outbreaks of Wattrel throughout Paldea, Riolu throughout Kitakami and Comfey throughout Blueberry Academy. Delightedly, Shiny Pokémon are more likely to appear in these special mass outbreaks, and they are also more likely to have the Pumped-Up Mark!

Fourth Part: Challenge Powerhouse Pokémon!

The last part is featuring Dragonite with the Mightiest Mark, will appear for the first time in 7-star Tera Raid Battles. It showcases with Normal as its Tera type. Throughout this event, be on the lookout for mass outbreaks of Larvitar and Bagon across Paldea. In Kitakami, keep an eye out for Goomy and the unique Hisuian Sliggoo, which is not available during regular gameplay. Meanwhile, Blueberry Academy will see an increase in Beldum encounters.

 

Shiny Pokémon are more likely to appear in these special mass outbreaks, and they are also more likely to have the Charismatic Mark!

Note: All Pokémon with the Mightiest Mark above can be caught only once. And if you already caught one, you can also join in the events to obtain other rewards.
